What Slowtree is not
Slowtree is not psychological counseling, psychotherapy, emergency support, medical care, mental-health diagnosis, legal advice, or abuse intervention. It is a parent support companion that offers structured wording and next-step suggestions for ordinary family-conflict moments.
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services, child protection resources, or a qualified professional.
Paid Pro access
Slowtree Pro is a digital subscription offered as Monthly Pro at $8.99/month or Annual Pro at $59.99/year. Checkout and subscription handling are expected to run through Stripe Managed Payments when configured.
Unless cancelled before the next renewal date, paid subscriptions may renew automatically at the then-current price and billing interval. You are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you do not want the next charge.
Slowtree offers a 30-day refund request window during MVP launch. After that window, paid fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or payment provider rules. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.
Use at your own risk
Slowtree is provided "as is" and "as available." Suggestions are automated, general, and informational. You are responsible for deciding whether any suggestion fits your family, child, culture, safety context, and local requirements.
You use Slowtree and any AI-generated guidance at your own risk. Slowtree does not promise any specific parenting, emotional, behavioral, educational, relationship, or safety outcome.
AI-generated guidance
Parts of Slowtree's output are produced by a third-party large-language model (xAI Grok). This applies to scripts generated from the "Other" custom-description path and to fresh script variations created after you have repeated the same preset combination several times. See the Privacy Policy for the exact data-flow.
AI-generated text can be wrong. It may misread your situation, suggest wording that does not fit your family, hallucinate facts, or echo unintended cultural assumptions. Slowtree does not pre-review AI output before showing it to you. Use your judgment. If a suggested sentence does not feel right, do not say it.
You must not submit confidential, medical, legal, financial, or third-party-identifying information into the "Other" custom-description box. Slowtree applies a guardrail prompt that asks the model not to request such data, but anything you type still leaves your device and is transmitted to xAI in the United States for processing.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slowtree and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including relationship deterioration, emotional distress, parenting conflict, child behavior changes, loss of data, lost profits, or other losses that may result from using or relying on Slowtree guidance.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including rights that may apply under mandatory consumer protection law.
Disputes and governing law
Where permitted by law, disputes should first be handled by contacting support at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
Where permitted by law, disputes will be resolved individually and not as part of a class or representative action. If arbitration is available and enforceable in the applicable jurisdiction, disputes may be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court.
Unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator resides and operates. If Slowtree later forms a company or selects a formal operating jurisdiction, this section may be updated.
Changes to these terms
Slowtree may update these terms as the product, payment setup, legal requirements, or operating structure changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, when appropriate, through in-product notice or support communication.
